While technically this jam swirled brownie recipe works with any type of jam, I highly recommend strawberry.It gives chocolate covered strawberry vibes in the best way.You just need 1/4 cup of jam for the brownies and an extra tablespoon for the optional glaze! The brownie base here is my incredible classic brownies that I have memorized.

If you’ve made my marshmallow brownies, you’ll recognize it here! It’s just a classic formula (10 tablespoons butter + scant cup of cocoa + 1.25 cups sugar + 2 eggs).You can vary the formula from there, but with that starting base, you’re guaranteed to get super fudge dense brownies.Ingredients Butter.

Ten tablespoons of unsalted butter.It doesn’t need to be softened because we’re melting it in a pot.Cocoa Powder.

Three-quarters of a cup plus an additional 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder.Sugar.One and one-quarter cups of sugar.

Brownies need a lot of sugar for their crisp, crackly crust! Vanilla.One and a half teaspoons of vanilla extract.Salt.

We’re adding 1/2 teaspoon of salt because we’re using unsalted butter.It’s better when we control the amount of salt in our recipes.Eggs.
