Ground Chicken Burgers Recipe - Dinner for Two
This post may contain affiliate links. Please read our disclosure policy.Grilling at home for two just got so easy with these Ground Chicken Burgers! They’re made with rosemary, mustard, and a tangy green apple cabbage slaw that doubles as a side dish.
If you find yourself with half a package of ground chicken or turkey, I hope you think of these burgers.Because ground chicken can be a bit, um, bland, these are packed with flavor. They’re also fool proof, because even if you over-cook them a bit on the grill, the grated apple keeps them moist! We’re officially calling these ground chicken burgers, because I think the apple, fresh parsley and rosemary pair best with chicken, but do not worry–you may absolutely use ground turkey! I love these ground chicken burgers so much because the slaw doubles as a side dish! Serve some directly on top of the burger and on the side, too! This recipe makes 2 burgers because I am a small-batch recipe creator, but you can very easily double this recipe and use the whole pack of ground chicken.
Ingredients Ground Chicken.One-half pound of ground chicken or turkey.Wrap up the remaining half of the package and freeze for a future use.
Mayonnaise. We need 6 tablespoons of mayo total for these ground chicken burgers–two for the meat mixture and 4 for the slaw side dish/ burger topper.Mustard.
One tablespoon of yellow mustard brings so much flavor here, but feel free to use Dijon or spicy brown mu
