Herb Butter Roast Turkey Breast
My Favorite Holiday Turkey Shortcut! All the holiday turkey goodness you love, with soooo much less fuss.♡ Roasting a turkey breast is hands-down my favorite holiday shortcut. There’s no whole bird to wrestle, the prep is refreshingly easy, and carving is as simple as slicing the meat off the bone.
And the flavor is SO good! I stir softened butter with garlic, sage, thyme, rosemary, lemon zest, Dijon and smoked paprika, spread it under and over the skin, and roast the turkey on a bed of veggies until it’s beautifully golden. All those buttery, herby drippings turn into the most incredible gravy (or if you want one more thing done ahead of time, I also love this make-ahead gravy!).Serve it with a big scoop of mashed potatoes and your favorite holiday sides, and you’ve got a gorgeous turkey dinner without the stress ready to enjoy.
